Documentary Topic: Ethnicity
My choice for the documentary topic would be ethnicity. I myself am of two heritages, Samoan, and Caucasian and that is a big part of my life. This topic is relevant to all the people in our class because Hawaii is such an ethnically diverse place that it really does shape our lives and perspectives. People from Hawaii's perspective on race and diversity would be vastly different from people all around the world. My dual-ethnicity has played a major role in my life and identity and I'm sure it has been a big part in everyone else's lives too.
